Such a pity :(

Great expectations. Unplanned activities. Flops. I guess that should explain it all.

THis saturday we went to a place called Mekhadattu(goats leap). Its about 90 km on kanakapura road from blr.

Wonderful bike ride!! Songs like khalbali and roo ba roo to keep the mood :)

Friends who want to experiment all the funny things that any heroine or hero would do on a movie - riding standing on bike, with both hands flying in the air, hooting out of joy, stopping for a tender coconut, monkeys (my friends) climbing the 'unclimbable' Banyan tree - well, its a must for all bike lovers.

We reached the much awaited spot after a couple of hours. My over-enthusiastic friends wanted to walk along the path for 4 to 5 kms in the hot/scorching sun at around 1.30pm.

Pity number 1:
It was such a beauty to watch leafless brown trees all over the place leaving no room for the sun to take rest!!

Pity number 2:
It is such a pity that such a beautiful place is also famous for suicides!! :(

Pity number 3.:
It is so rocky, that one slip can really prove fatal.

But young hearts always prefer to take risks to enjoy the day. We were no exceptions. We played in the water. Man the fishes were so huge, so close, and so many, that even the most dumbest of fishermen can get quite a catch.

Pity number 4?:
Of course we were scared of getting fish bites (does it sound like love bites ;) well i will give this a 50-50 chance.

Pity number 5: My over-protective friend refused to let us get into the water even though we all know swimming - for fear of the place and people :((

pity number 6:
Well, i was done with all my energy used up. we paid Rs 20 per head, for a 3-in-1 ride. Well, what else can you call a 'bus journey' in a 'dog-van' that gives you a 'roller coaster' effect?

Last but not the least, and the most important!!
pity number 7:
for the first time in my life, someone told me on my face that his bike would not be able to pull me through the hill!! :(((( and meant it!!! (!.!) me crying :(( and hence could be my last trip on bikes for now :((

Well its all in the game!! :)

Never the less, for all those enthusiasts who would want to spend their pent up energies and exhaust yourself, this one is a true beauty to be rejoiced.

P.S: you can see holes in rocks carved beautifully by the force of the waters. It is possible to cross and go over to the other bank. We did not due to the over protective nature of our friends. But if you choose to go to this place, do try going to the source of the water falls. You can see the fishes jumping and the foam of the water kising you on your face!! :)
